Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) Treatment

Why drive when you’re dizzy? Let us bring the therapy to you! BPPV, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, is the most common cause of dizziness or vertigo. The only way to treat BPPV- out-of-place ear crystals causing dizziness, is to use canalith repositioning maneuvers; the Epley, Semont, and Gufoni just to name a few. These maneuvers will reposition misplaced ear crystals which results in restoring stability and eliminating dizziness, nausea, and balance problems. Normally only 1-3 sessions are needed and very effective treatment.

In using mobile Physical Therapy we bring all the equipment that you would find in a clinic setting; Infrared goggles, a treatment table, and a computer system to help with diagnosis of vertigo.

Pregnancy

Comprehensive Women’s Health Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor therapy is essential for women at all stages of life, especially during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or following significant gynecological procedures such as a hysterectomy. During pregnancy, the pelvic floor endures immense pressure and change, often resulting in discomfort, pain, and reduced control over bladder and bowel functions. Pelvic floor therapy provides gentle, specialized exercises to strengthen and stabilize these muscles, helping to support the body’s natural changes during pregnancy and prepare for smoother childbirth. This therapy extends to the postnatal period, where strengthening the pelvic floor can speed recovery, prevent prolapse, and restore core stability, helping new mothers regain confidence and function.

For women experiencing pelvic organ prolapse or recovering from a hysterectomy, pelvic floor therapy is a vital part of rehabilitation. Prolapse, the descent of pelvic organs due to weakened muscles, can be uncomfortable and disruptive, but targeted therapy can strengthen the pelvic floor, support organ positioning, and alleviate symptoms. After a hysterectomy, pelvic floor therapy helps restore muscle tone, improve circulation, and manage scar tissue, facilitating a safer, more complete recovery. Our therapy programs are tailored to each individual’s needs, with compassionate support and exercises designed to safely rebuild strength, promote healing, and empower women in every phase of life.

Vestibular adaptation is the foundation of vestibular rehabilitation therapy for inner ear weakness or vestibular hypofunction. Hypofunction is commonly caused by viral infections, post-COVID infections, or structural disease. The progression is decided by the patient’s tolerance to the program and the therapist's knowledge in the recovery process with the ultimate goal of improving balance and reducing problems related to dizziness.
