Exercises for Vestibular Adaptation

Have you been diagnosed with dizziness or vestibular disorder? If you’re receiving or considering physical therapy as treatment to your vestibular disorder or dizziness, you may want to consider some adaption exercises.

Adaptation exercises including gaze stability are the foundation for vestibular rehabilitation. The ones we show in the video below, are also good for hypo function, or weakness of the inner ear but have helped many other diagnoses as well.

Note that these exercises are not meant to be a substitute for individual medical advice. Please ask your medical provider or physical therapist if these could help you and your specific symptoms.

Custom Care Rehab is a mobile physical therapy clinic treating patients in the greater Akron, OH and Cleveland, OH areas by bringing the therapy to you. Our concierge physical therapy services allow us to provide specialized care in the comfort of your own home at a time that’s best for you.
