Six years ago, at the absolute onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare as we knew it ground to a halt. Patients recovering from major surgeries or managing complex neurological conditions were suddenly left without access to the hands-on care they desperately needed. Recognizing a critical gap in our local healthcare system, I made a pivotal decision after 15 years in a major hospital network: if patients couldn't safely go to the clinic, I would bring the clinic to them.
That was the spark that founded Custom Care Rehab.
What began as a solo mission to deliver private, high-quality physical therapy directly to families in Northeast Ohio has grown into something far greater. Today, I am incredibly humbled to share that I have been named a 2026 Progressive Entrepreneur Honoree at the annual Smart Business Smart Women Breakfast & Awards.
